Anyone noticed the new machine that showed your car plate number when you are entering Sunway Pyramid carpark?
I always imagine being able to drive into the carpark, without the need to take a carpark ticket.
Simply by scanning my car plate no, i can enter! ⚡Easy Peasy and sounds cool right?!!
And guess what? it’s gonna happen in Sunway Pyramid like real soon.
Right now, Sunway are conducting this license plate recognition system pilot test for selected users in the mall’s carpark to help improve traffic flow.
From the video, the experience appears to be seamless! For now, Sunway Pyramid didn’t explain the mode of payment yet. But, we hope there will be alternative that we can pay via app which means cashless.
According to Sunway Pyramid, they will provide more updates once they have completed their pilot test.
