Hooray !! Road Transport Department ( JPJ) is offering a 70% discount for all the summons in conjuction with the National month. The discount will last the entire month of August, reported by The Star.
Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, also further explained that the discount given is to all compoundable summonses issued by JPJ and the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) for offences under the Road Transport Act and Commercial Vehicles Licensing Board Act and other rules and orders under it, including cases that are still blacklisted.
However, for the blacklisted offenders, They will required to go to the JPJ branch or state office for the documentation process before payment can be made.
“The discount is applicable at all JPJ branches nationwide, including at various urban transformation centres (UTC) and other payment channels such as JPJ’s mySIKAP Portal, JPJ Kiosk and JPJ Mobile, ” he said.
