Not only wearing a mask but wear your mask properly or you will be fine RM1,000 too!
According to China Press, the incident took place in a shopping mall in Belakong, Kajang, where a Indian sales girl was slapped with a compound of RM1,000 for not wearing a mask properly.
She pulled the mask down on her chin while police officer on duty caught her on the spot and issued her a summons. The summons was then circulated on social media.
Wearing a face mask is now mandatory in public places under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act. For those flouting the law ( people who didn’t wear mask and people who didn’t wear mask properly) could be fined RM1,000.
