Dewi Sukarno, widow of the former president of Indonesia, who fell from power in 1966. she is now 80-year-old and a well-known Japanese media figure living in Tokyo with her dogs, and a housekeeper.
She is direct and straightforward, some just can’t take it. But some audiences like her and admire her guts. She got married with Sukarno in 1959 when she was 19, they have a daughter, named Karina, who is now aged 57 living in New York, working for a PR company.
Lately she uploaded some photo and herself and Karina in IG, sharing her life being a political refugees and exiles in US then France. She wrote,” When my daughter Karina was six months old, we stopped by meeting friend in San Francisco, stayed in New York with Karina’s god mother, Cindy Adams, and then went into exile in Paris. September 1967.
She moved to France, back to Indonesia and then the USA where she spent time with native tribes. She only moved back to Japan few years back.
