An incident in Vietnam regarding the 4-month-old baby girl, who was diagnosed with heart disease was cremated alive by her parents was widely discussed by netizens.
According to China Press, this 4-month-old baby girl was born with heart defects, a condition where a problem in the structure of her heart. The infant was hospitalised on Nov 11 due to heart disease, doctors tried to resuscitate her.
However, the baby girl health conditions deteriorated, with conditions of breathing failure and septic shock. On Nov 26, the doctors thought chances of surviving for the little girl was low. Thus, allowing the parents to bring her out to the temple for a praying session in hope that there was a miracle.
But, the parents didn’t head to the temple instead they were heading to funeral parlour to cremate their girl.
The people in funeral parlour alerted the police when they found the baby girl that they were going to cremate was alive. The baby was then rushed to the hospital. However, she was pronounced dead not long after.
The parents told the media outlets that reason being of sending her straight for cremation because the life-prolonging treatments doesn’t help her and they do not want to see their daughter suffered anymore. Thus, they thought ending her life would be the best decision.
This incident become a very debating topic after it’s on the news headlines, some thought the parents should try their very best to prolong her life. While, some agreed with what the parents did to end the daughter’s life so she won’t suffered anymore. What about you? what do you think?
