Facebook videos showing a pinkish ‘tornado’ swirling in Johor have recently gone viral.
The incident happened at Petronas’ Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (RAPID) project in Pengerang.
It is uncertain what caused the ‘tornado’s’ pinkish hue, but a facebook user claimed It’s a chemical pollution.
Another called the ‘tornado’ a ‘dust devil’, which is a whirlwind containing sand or dust that goes in a vertical motion and Dust devils are usually harmless, according to the Wikipedia.
