Today is the first day school reopen after 3 months’ closure due to Covid-19 pandemic. Sadly, this Form 3 student can’t complete his Form 3 anymore.
The 15-year-old student is from a school in Bandar Tun Razak died on the first day of school. According to NST, The mother known as Nora, 51, said she last spoke to her child at 7am before the victim went to school.
He walked to school with a few friends because the school was not that far from their house.
He went through the temperature check before entering the school, his temperature was normal, reported by Oriental Daily.
While he was listening to a briefing by a teacher on the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for schools, he suddenly lost consciousness.
The teacher from the school called Nora at about 7.50am and told her that her child passed out. She immediately went to school.
The boy was then rushed to Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Hospital (HUKM) but unfortunately he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.
Nora said her boy, the youngest of four siblings, had no underlying health issues and he was in good health. She had no idea what happened.
It was understood that the victim’s family was waiting for the Covid-19 test results before the start of the post-mortem.
