Central Kuala Lumpur was flooded on Thursday following hours of heavy rain with some places reporting waist-high water.
A video posted in Info Roadblock JPJ/Polis Facebook page showing a Perodua Kelisa wading through floodwaters Kuala Lumpur yesterday afternoon has gone viral.
The 40-second footage, believed to be taken by someone waiting at a bus stop, saw the Kelisa driving through a submerged Jalan Dang Wangi.
The driver of Kelisa brave itself stepped on the accelerator, driving all the way through the flooded road. Onlookers also can be seen cheering after the Kelisa reached the dry land.
Let’s check out the comments:
▼One Facebook user said, “The name is Kelisa. If Kancil, sure drown”
▼Another commenter suggested that future cars should be named after fishes. Kelisa has proven it. After this put Perodua Tenggiri, Kerapu, or Perodua Sepat.
▼Malaysia made car is the BEST!
▼A tip if you are going to do the same thing~
▼The responses are just epic!
