But this time we are lucky to get a delicious recipe by the wife of Tomyam Restaurant owner! She shared recipe how to make sambal belacan tomyam! The recipe will confirm be different and totally mouthwatering!

Sambal Belacan Tomyam Ingredients: 

  • 10 small hot chilies + 3 red chilies
  • 3 large garlic cloves (if small, place 5 cloves)
  • Belacan (use black + white, roast / fry first)
  • Sugar
  • Salt
  • Ajinamoto seasoning powder (optional)
  • Calamansi lime (take juice only)
  • A little vinegar

Okay now let’s move to the step of making this sambal belacan tomyam!

Step 1: Blend all ingredients together in the blender! Make sure you don’t blend it too long because we want the sambal to be gritty not too watery!
