Senior Minister for Security Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced a while ago that KL, Selangor & Putrajaya will start to enforce Conditional Movement Control order ( CMCO) starting Midnight Oct 14 for 2 weeks.
Following the rise of Covid-19 cases in districts of Klang, Petaling, Gombak and Hulu Langat. National Security Council ( NSC) has agreed to implement CMCO on the said state in order to halt the spread of the virus to other districts, reported by The Star.
Under the CMCO,
- inter-district travel will not be allowed and employees who have to make such travel must have a letter from their employer and show their staff pass.
- Only two persons from a house will be allowed to go out to buy food and other essentials.
- Schools, kindergartens, nurseries and institutes of higher learning and tahfiz are to remain closed during this period.
- public and recreational areas will not be opened to the public.
- visiting houses of worship will not be allowed.
- All sporting, recreational, social and cultural events, including weddings are barred.
“However, economic activities in the affected areas will be allowed to operate as normal,” said Ismail Sabri.
