A tragedy happened in China due to the negligence of the father, the 2 children who were left playing by themselves falling from 15-floor to death. Sadly, the father who was busy on his mobile phone only realised both kids were missing when the neighbours shouted some kid falling from the apartment.
According to the Oriental Daily, the incident happened at 3pm on Nov 2 in Chong Qing, China. A mother need to go out to run some errands, so asking the husband to take care of the 2 kids aged 5 and 2.
The 2 kids where playing by themselves in the house while the father was on his mobile phone and didn’t keep an eye on the 2 kids until he heard one of the neighbour from 7th floor shouting, ” someone kids falling down !”
Only the father realised the kids are out of his sight, when he searched around the apartment and the kids were nowhere to be found. He knew something was not right. Immediately, rushing down to the ground floor. Sadly, the 2 kids were already laying in a pool of blood.
His 2-year-old daughter died on the spot. The 5-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately died on the next day.
The residents nearby felt sad on tragedy. The police will carry out further investigation on the matter.
Hopefully the accident could serve as a warning of the risks of overusing the devices.
