Parents in Doubt Seeing Primary Teacher Correcting the Alphabet ” y ” in Daughter’s Homework

A parents from Hong Kong took social media to express their doubt in teacher intention of correcting alphabet “y” in their daughter’s homework.

A mother posted in Facebook on Oct 30, she wrote,” Not only Chinese, but also english that the teacher is so demanding. My primary 1 daughter’s homework been corrected, alphabet “y” that circle in red, she will need to rewrite the “y” again ( the one pointed in arrow).”

The mother also shared her feeling while seeing those correction with # doubt life and #so much homework_ and all sort of correction.

She attached a picture of her daughter’s english worksheet that need to fill the blank with ” you” and “I”. She got it all right, somehow her teacher was still correcting her on the way she wrote “y”.

Most of the netizens also doubt what is wrong with the way the little girl wrote “y” and the think the teacher is unreasonable. Some parents also shared their same experience that certain teachers are just too demanding.
