The Thai royal family is one of the few royal families in the world that still holds real power. The Thai royal family is very wealthy. Thus, a lot of people wanted to work for the them. However, to work as a servant or officer in the royal family is not an easy task. First, you will need to kneel.

According to some local reports, under increasing pressure from protesters demanding reforms to the monarchy, the 68-year-old Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn and Queen Suthida can be seen attending some public event lately, including meeting the crowds of royal devotees.

On mid Nov, the royal couple was seen at the new subway station in Bangkok sat on the subway train on padded cushions for the opening of the new extension of the Metropolitan Rapid Transit (MRT) Blue Line, as men dressed in uniforms sat on the floor of the carriage while they waved, reported by Daily mail.

In another event, Thai King and Queen meeting thousands of supporters in Bangkok, mixing with citizens in the street after attending a religious ceremony inside the Grand Palace.

The King was seen receiving money as a donation from public, it’s probably is not an easy task for him, Queen Suthida can be seen helping him to wipe his sweat off. We probably couldn’t understand the hardship he went through. But comparing to him, looking at the servants or officers that standing next to them are having a way tougher life.

From the picture, you can also see Queen Suthida looks friendly with a smile on her face when she talk to the supporters. While the two royal female officers behind her, one with a handy mini fan for the queen and another one that wiping sweat for the queen. The two officers look sweaty and face without an expression.

When you magnifying those picture, you can see the knees of the female officers behind them were red covered with greyish dirt or debris, resulted from kneeling on the concrete tar road. The outermost layer of skin was scraped with blood. By just looking at that, i can feel the pain.

But these officers will need to push through the pain when the King and the Queen was on the street meeting thousands of their adoring supporters.
