Earlier today, 2 helicopters with 4 passengers onboard collide in the mid-air, causing one of the helicopter’s tail break and then crashed in a residential area around 11.45am on Nov 8. While another one to managed to manouvre an emergency landing at a school in Taman Melawati, Ampang.

The survivors, former Malaysia Airlines Bhd CEO Datuk Ahmad Jauhari and Tan Chai Eian, 51 declined to speak to the press when the both of them leaving the crash site at 3pm in a police vehicle.
However, a few eyewitness sharing with NST how the incident happened..
Puteri Nur Elani Ismail, 25, a private college student, was collecting Melostoma leaves near the Bukit Emas roundabout, some 500 metres from the crash location. Prior to the crash, she can heard helicopter hovering.
“When I looked, I saw two helicopters flying, the blue in front and the red behind. Suddenly the red one struck the blue one in the back.
“After the collision, the tail of the blue helicopter snapped off and the red helicopter began stalling. Then the blue helicopter plunged, followed by a loud bang.
“Meanwhile, the red helicopter continued with its journey and I believe landed in a nearby school area,” she said when met at the scene.
Immediately she rushed to the crash site and residents nearby and police already there.
Chan Chee Hoy, who is the security officer at Taman Melawati Hillside Apartment aid he heard a loud bang like an explosion.
“I came out of the guard house and was surprised to see a blue helicopter had crashed at the bushes in front of the apartment,” he said.
And Yudish G. Dorai who lives less than 500m away from the crash site said he heard a loud explosion before the helicopter crashed.
