We see a lot perfectly edited photos that seemingly flawless that most women posted on social media, but heaven knows those aren’t the REAL DEAL. (Editor : Opsss… SHHhhhhh..)
However, this Thai model named Vienna that based in Japan is pulling back the curtain and showing the world what actually goes into taking those influencer photos.
Vienna told media outlet that she became a model when she was 19 years old and shared how she ended up based in Japan.
“I went to Tokyo for a vacation when I had about 10K followers on Twitter. I met a girl there and we ended up taking a photo together while we were walking on the street. After she posted our photo online, her modeling agency contacted me and asked me to work with them,” said Vienna.
For her “Instagram vs. Reality series”, Vienna used some photo editing on the “perfect” photos to really highlight the discrepancy between the before and after photos.
She used an app called Ulike to fine-tune and perfect the facial features, the apps offering users to touch-up their eyes, nose and mouth.
However, the “real” ones weren’t manipulated at all, she just used her normal camera. That’s why her face looks different.
She also managing her own youtube account, with 347k subscribers. She speaks fluent Japanese in the videos she uploaded.
Her photos on “Instagram vs. Reality series” gained a lot of attention with most commenters said they burst into laughter and love those pictures, one said she love the series of pictures, some love her said she is great because she is showing her true self. Some also doubt is it the same person?!
