A man double-parked and blocking an uncle’s car. The uncle then claimed he didn’t see there was a car blocking him thus accidentally hit his car. There goes a long debate on who is at fault, the man or the uncle.
The said incident happened in Kuchai Lama, KL, and the video was uploaded on Facebook on Dec 6 by the netizen, known as Mr.Y who double-parked and his car hit by an uncle that his car was blocking. The uncle apologized but refused to compensate. Thus, Mr. Y took it to Facebook to seek justice.
In the footage, Mr. Y can be heard asking,” Am I illegal to double-park? if yes, then everyone here doing it illegally,” Then, the uncle can be heard saying, ” Because you parked illegally, I didn’t notice and hit your car, I can only say sorry,” but he refused to compensate.
Mr. Y wrote in the caption of his post, “Today, I met a person who hit my car in Kuchai Lama. Instead of saying sorry first, he gave me a lecture. In the end, it was all my fault,
“I don’t intend to take a video of you. But I look down on your attitude. What kind of company director is that? Anyhow, I was provoked and scolded you in the public.
” Everyone can come to check out this video, even he hit your car, he can be so reasonable. Please share this post. Maybe it’s my fault, my fault to park behind this uncle’s car. Do your guys think this uncle is reasonable?”
His post went viral with 1.6k responses, 3.3k comments with over 1,400 shares. It was widely discussed and most of them sided with the uncle.

A day later, Mr. Y then posted another video to apologize that he double-parked.
In his Facebook caption, he told keyboard warriors to be constructive and claimed he already lodged a police report and let the police decide who’s fault is it. He said he will post another video to update netizens on this matter again.

One of the netizens, believed to be the passenger in his car stepped up to explain that she just done her 5th surgery and hardly walk, he couldn’t get a parking space. Thus, he send her into the restaurant. It’s just less than a minute, when he stepped out from the restaurant wanted to move his car away.
Then he received a call from the uncle. The uncle accidentally hit his car never apologized in the first place and scolded him badly. Mr. Y nearly cried only he shouted him back. The uncle only talks nicely later, after that Mr. Y started to record the video. She added that the shop keeper of the fruit stall who witnessed the incident can prove that.
She added the uncle said he don’t know how to lodge a police report and threatened him if he lodged report police summon him. But his friend, Mr. Y insisted to lodge a police report and admitted his wrongdoing to park illegally, and his car was hit a minute after he double-parked. He stressed that his friend revealed the truth to the police and let the police to justify who’s fault is that. She claimed the uncle run away, but we do not know whether the uncle lodged a report too.
