Have you ever think of yourselves being a disabled person? How would you live if you have no hands and no leg at all? It is hard. This single mother of 2 children has no hands and legs. But, she works hard to raise her children by selling Kuih Tepung Pelita, a snack or dessert that has two layers of rice flour custard, coconut milk and is pandan flavored.
Recently, Ustaz Ebit Lew, a businessman, and philanthropist shared on his Facebook that he is giving out some help to this wonderful, strong woman. The post garnered over 250K likes and 13.1K shares
He praised that the lady is very diligent and when he arrived to meet her, she even cooked him Nasi Penyet Ikan Keli. He was choked with tears at her kindness. He also shared that she does get some help by Zakat and also JKM.
As a help, Ustaz Ebit Lew bought her movable awning stall. When he gifted the stall to her, she cried and grateful for the gift.
He also shared that the lady sells Kueh Pelita in front of Tasik Sri Rampai and she might also sell Nasi Ayam Penyet in the future. Her food is very delicious. It is welcomed that people near the location, to come and buy her food.
