Veteran Kpop actor and idol, Rain tied the knot with South Korean actress Kim Tae Hee on 2017, the couple have 2 daughters and they decided to keep their children out of the limelight.
He told SCMP that he used to think he can talk about his family happily. “But now, if I opened up to the public my children and bragged about how we live, I think it would somehow come back to haunt me. I will build a wall between my family and my job, to protect them!” he said.

On the Dec 27, Rain made a guest appearance as a special host in the broadcast of the popular reality show.
The star talked about his married life with his wife Kim Tae Hee after been questioned by the guests. He said he will help to do house chores and will take initiative to wash the plates after meal. Thus he seldom ” scolded by the wife”.
Not only that, he also revealed that he was financially prepared for a grand wedding ceremony for Kim 3 years ago. However, his wife insisted a small-scaled wedding ceremony. Thus, the two decided to do a simple and private wedding
Instead of a designer wedding gown, Kim also opted to wear a mini dress that she had designed herself.
He didn’t prepare any wedding gifts and even got their friends to be photographers in their wedding ceremony. You probably also couldn’t believe, the most important thing for a bride, the wedding ring only cost him 250,000 Won (RM 930).
