We’ve all have experience doing group work either in school, universities or in working environment. But have you ever encountered someone who contribute nothing but shamelessly want some credit in the work? This is type of people really have zero common sense and just make your blood boils!
Recently, a guy on Twitter decided to share how he deal with a free rider in his group assignment. His post on how he teach her a lesson has garnered over 14.1K retweets and 26.2K likes as many people can relate with this type of behaviour.
The post wrote, “Did she thinks I’m just kidding when I give her advice? Well, good luck then doing semi final group work and finals,”.
This guy decide that enough is enough! In the screenshot text, he did ask the girl to respond, not just giving them blueticks. He also mention that he’s not afraid to voice out if she keeps doing that he don’t care that she is his senior.
The girl is not only did not respond to their question, she’s also don’t even thanks them when someone else did the slide for their assignment. Getting sick of the excuses of being busy, he did remind her that she’s not the only one who is busy. Don’t test his patience as he is not a man with good temper.
“If you’re a repeat student, then act like one…do not playing around,” he told her.
Hoping she will take note of what he said, he ended up with disappointment again. She did read his messages but still no respond from her. That is the last straw. This guy makes up his mind to remove her from their group assignment so that she knows that he is not joking when he warned her before this.
Most of us had almost the same experience with him while doing our group work but his action is what most of us didn’t have the courage to do.
Netizen’s response

Do you have any experience with free rider? How do you deal with them?
