A young teenage couple has gone viral on Tik Tok as videos of their wedding caught netizens’ attention with most of them questioning age of the young couple.
The wedding videos was believed taken in Tanah Merah, Kelantan which was then uploaded by the couple’s aunt in TikTok, those video just looks like any other traditional Malay wedding. But the age of the couple becoming the highlight as the both of them really looking very young like a school kids.

Social media users began flooding with comments after the aunt revealed the age of the bride and groom following her caption on one of the videos that go “Can you guess how old they are?”
As it turns out, both of the couples are teenagers with the groom aged 17 while the bride is 15-years-old. Yes, Form 3 and Form 4 students.

In one of the videos, the young couple can be seen clad in blue wedding outfits along with their groomsmen and bridesmaids escorting them.
The wedding videos have attracted the attention of social media users, some of the videos even have close to a million views.
▼But anyhow, not all TikTok users supporting the union of the young couple. Some were skeptical as the couple is still underage.
▼ A TikTok user also wonders who paid for the expenses for the wedding ceremony? and who is going to pay for their school fees?
According to the Federal Territory’s Islamic Family Law Act 1984, the minimum age requirement for marriage for men is 18 years old while for women it is 16 years old.
However, exceptions can be made if the Shariah Judge has granted permission in writing in certain circumstances.
