Since there are different measures taken in different states to contain the spread of COVID-19, these are what you need to know about the operation of the educational institutions!
For the states and federal states that undergo Movement Control Order (MCO), starting from 20 January 2021, the students who will undergo exams for SPM, SVM, SKM, STPM, STAM, DVM, and the equivalent international examinations will go to school. As for primary school students from standard 1 until 6, Secondary school students from Form 1 until 4, and Vocational school students of the second semester of 2020 for SVM also DVM will be having classes online.
The students who entered a boarding school that will be taking SPM/SVM/SKM/STPM/STAM/DV, for 2020 and 2021 will be allowed to return to the hostel starting from 16 January 2021. A special notice letter will be issued by the school themselves.
As for the special school admission assessment, for Form 1 students, the date will be between 20 until 29 January 2021 and Form 4 will be between 15 until 25 February 2021. The letter for interstate travel will be issued by KPM.
Regarding the teachers are involved with exams, teachers are involved with exam management, and other teachers are directed to attend by the head of the department will be back at their station of duty before 20 January 2021.
As in regards to matriculation, students have to remain in college and all the learning sessions will be done hybrid in college. For teacher education institutes, students will be following online learning starting from 17 January 2021.
Concerning the private education institution, face-to-face learning for private schools and international schools is only allowed to the students who will be taking examinations only. Private Kindergarten that registered under KPM can be operated face to face. Other private institutions are not allowed to operate face to face. The operation of the private institution is subject to school guidelines and operations in the new norm.
For the states that undergo CMCO and RMCO, All the operations of the educational institution under KPM and all categories of registered private educational institutions are based on the calendar of their respective institutions.
