The social media was flooded with news where a man with “Datukship” title slapped and beat up a couple that asking him to lower his voice in a steamboat restaurant in Tropicana Avenue.
Netizens were fumed and bashed him with most commented, ” What Datuk is it? A woman also want to hit?”, ” Strip off his Datukship title lah, please!”, ” This kind of Datuk must get a hefty punishment”
After the video of him assaulted the couple went viral, netizens did a background check on them and managed to identify the assailants. Their Facebook account, spouse, kids and even their company and businesses were revealed online.
Some netizens even messaging the customer service personnel of the e-commerce site to verify whether their boss is the said Datuk.
