A Hotel In Penang Sells Food As Low As RM3 By The Roadside To Sustain Their Business

This current pandemic does not only affecting health but also has huge impact on economy. Business sector who mostly depends on tourism are among those heavily affected.

Recently, a manager of a hotel in Penang was seen holding a board on the street selling food cooked by the hotel chef. That news was reported by Bernama news where it has amassed over 11.6K retweets and 13K likes as many were impressed by the leadership shown by the manager.

In that 1:54 minutes video, a man was seen holding a board written ” RM 3 Only” by the roadside. According to Bernama, that guy is Jeffry Lim, the manager of Red Rock Hotel in Penang.

Since we are under MCO, the hotel was left with no choice but to come out with an alternative to sustain their business. So, they decided to sell food cooked by the hotel chef so that they can make sure that all of their staff still have a job.

Among the available menu are Tom Yam noodle, fried rice and chicken rice. Surprisingly, even though these food are cook by professional chef, these are all sold at only RM3!

They sell the food in front of their hotel at Jalan Macalister, George Town, Penang and so far, they have received a very good response from their customers.
