Chinese New Year is near and a lot of people are still going to celebrate the festive day, even though, with a smaller circle. When you are celebrating a festival, cookies are important to have in the house, either for people in the house or for yourself. But, this home baker share a horrifying story after her customer shared that their cookies are being eaten by the riders!
The owner shared that she had scheduled 2 delivery using delivery services to 2 areas, Klang and Kepong. Both different riders, but apparently they knew each other and they were chatting in front of my house after she handed them the customer’s cookies.
The nightmare came to them when she was informed by the customer’s that the CNY cookies got eaten before the rider delivered them to my customers. She was bombarded with negative messages by the customers due to the incident. She had apologized and compensated the customer immediately by sending them a new batch of cookies. She also was grateful and thankful that the customers understand the situation after being explained and being compensated.
She did file a complaint to Mr. Speedy, and she said that she has to wait 5-7 days for them to investigate and get back. She added that if the riders were hungry, they could have told her and she would be more than happy to offer you without any charges. Sadly, they just decided to open the customer’s cookies and ate them. Not only that but they ate them in not one bottle or two bottles, but they ate few pieces from each bottle and delivered the remaining half to the customers.
She hoped that people would be more ethical while working as they are many people who are working hard and have problems but didn’t do things to hurt other people.
The case has garnered a lot of people’s attention and being shared with other people as a warning!
