RM50,000 To Compensate Those Who Suffer Side Effects Due To COVID-19 Vaccine Injection

Malaysia has started giving out vaccine injection since last month with the first person to receive it was the Prime Minister.

In the recent press release by KKM, Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba has announced that government has approved special financial assistance amounting to RM10 million as to compensate anyone who suffer with side effect of Covid19 injection.

This special fund is not limited to only Malaysians who suffer the side effect but also to foreigners as well. This financial assistance falls into two category.

The first category offered RM50,000 financial assistance for those who suffer from serious side effect that required treatment in hospital for a long period of time.

The second category can get RM500,000 for having permanent disability or death due to COVID-19 vaccine injection.
