Chinese New Year (CNY) is just around corner, we can always see nice CNY decoration in all the shopping malls. But, Malaysian are confused with some of the CNY deco this year..
The post read:
CNY deco for these 3 places were famous for a wrong reason:
KLCC – Qing Ming’s ‘Joss Paper Pagoda’
Pavillion – Joss paper luxury mansions and things burnt to serve as an offering to the people who have passed on.
Kuching – Like a funeral arch..
▼ Looking at the CNY deco, i’m feeling like celebrating CNY in “another world” .. LOL!
① Pavilion
The indoor CNY deco is looking good from far.. but when you look closer you will probably feel something is not right..
② Suria KLCC
▼「Qing Ming come so early ?」
▼ The designer must be in bad mood: Who dare to celebrate CNY, i will let him/her celebrate Qing Ming!
▼ Choyyyy… ( touch wood) burning for who?~
▼ “Exactly the same like the one we burnt for our grandma!” , ” Idea for next CNY project?”
▼ Lazada:【Click here】
▼Some netizen is poking fun of it : ” Can give me? i want to burn it for my grandpa”
▼ One poking fun said the joss paper servants asking:「Any job vacancy?」
▼ Can just burn it after CNY! convenient!
▼ At one glance, it’s really like a funeral offering.
▼ Suria KLCC- opening a branch in Heaven??
▼ Some netizens also wondered is it sponsored by Nirvana?
▼ One said: ” Don’t hantar homework je! ( not for the sake to complete the job only) please do more research. It’s truly ugly, no CNY feel but more like Qing Ming”
▼ Some wondered how come last month is the tallest Christmas tree and now become the paper origami?!
▼ Some netizens teasing : That’s the different between with budget VS without budget!
▼ ” Kuching also .. but luckily they replaced it already!”
③ The Great Cat of Kuching
The post read:
The most famous CNY deco near White Cat Statue. I feel a bit odd when i was looking at it but when someone send me the funeral arch then i knew .. what’s the problem..
No offence, but i can’t control myself ( laughing)..
▼ “Sorry, i was laughing too!” , ” I don’t dare to look at it!”
▼ Let’s see how’s the CNY deco arch look at night!” Oh gosh.. Hungry ghost festival is it?”
▼ Looks like travelling to another world?!~
▼ ” I was there at night, and i was in shocked. Anyone felt the same like me? Are we celebrating CNY or Hungry ghost festival now ( Lunar month of 7)”, ” Be careful! Don’t be shocked by the arch and hopefully it won’t caused any accident.”
▼ “If they never change the design, maybe after CNY you will be seeing joss sticks on the floor”
▼ After receiving so much complaint, they finally changed it. (And this one look so much better! )
