Sungei Wang Plaza, one of the longest-running malls in Malaysia that surpassed over many decades is now coming alive with a complete brand-new look!
The mall launched its “glistening gold” look that represents themselves as a “Beauty & Experiential Mall” offering differentiated retail and exciting experiential activities such as indoor rock-climbing gym, indoor adventure park, indoor drift kart, heritage miniature museum and more.
Chairman of Sungei Wang Plaza Management Corporation, Mr Ng Yih Chen said, “Being one of the pioneer malls in Malaysia, despite all the challenges and defiance in this competitive and fast-paced environment and market shifting, we have been continuously in the pursuit of progress in keeping ourselves relevant to the retail industry.”

The launch also initiated the first edition of Sungei Wang Plaza National Traditional Lion Dance from 15 to 16 January 2022 at the Main Entrance, featured 21 lion dance troupes nationwide competed for the champion title.
The Top 4 lion dance troupes namely Ching Xing Sports and Cultural Centre Penang (Champion), Persatuan Tarian Singa Jong Hwa Seberang Prai Penang (1st Runner-Up), Persatuan Kebudayaan Kepong Hong Teck (2nd Runner-Up) and Xuan Long Dragon and Lion Dance Ampang Selangor (3rd Runner-Up) received the trophies, medals and prize money presented by Yang Berhormat Fong Kui Lun, Member of Parliament for Bukit Bintang on Sunday, 17 January 2022 at Centre Court, Sungei Wang Plaza.
Roaring into the year of Tiger, Sungei Wang Plaza is going to give us an exciting celebrations to experience a Kawaii CNY with the theme “The Fantasy of Taiko” with hopes of good health and prosperity for the year of 2022.
In line with the CNY celebrations, a variety of exciting performances, CNY prosperity bazaar and redemptions are in store at Sungei Wang Plaza from now until 20 February 2022.
Redemptions include limited edition collectable Kawaii Ang Pao packet and Kawaii Mandarin Oranges Plush Toy.
