Recently, a young mother took social media to share, she took a few bags of unwanted clothes to send to H&M for recycling, and she also bought new clothes on the spot with the given vouchers!

Chinese New Year is around the corner, after the spring clean, what do you do with your unwanted clothes?
Last month, my cousin shared with me her experience sending her clothes to H&M for recycling, and she got the discount voucher. Thus, last Thursday when i went to JB, i took a bag of unwanted clothes including some tops and pants. ( Some only wore 1-2 times, or never wore for a long time. I’m telling myself if never gave out the old one i will never get a new one)
How to redeem for the voucher？
A bag of clothes to redeem for 1 voucher ( If i’m not wrong, you need at least 5 pieces of cloth in the bag. But, i’m keeping like 3 full bags. The crew in H&M gave me 5 vouchers instead seeing me recycling quite a lot of clothes. He is so nice!)
The process only took like 5 minutes, then i started my shopping spree! My son ended with most items, with all his dinosaur theme clothing.
Step 1：Very simple, just packed the unwanted clothes in the bag.
Step 2：Let the crew at the paying counter know before you drop the bags into the recycling bin.
A big bag of clothes to exchange for one voucher ( If i’m not wrong at least 5 clothes in a bag, but i’m very lazy so i got 3 full bags of clothes, the crew at the counter saw the big bags and he gave me 5 vouchers instead. He is so nice!)
The process is just around 5 minutes, then you can start your shopping spree! My son was with the most items, he got all his dinosaur theme clothes.
Things to take note：
- It’s a 15% OFF voucher ( With validity date)
- voucher for original price items only.
- Voucher not applicable on discounted items, buy 1 free 1 or buy 2 free 1 items.
- One voucher on 1 original price items/ in a single receipt ( I’m doing that, but you can ask the crew on the cashier counter to double confirm).
- Voucher not applicable on designer collection items.
To add-on：
- It’s not necessary to recycle H&M clothes, but you can only use the voucher in H&M store.
- Some netizen said they send in a few bags of clothes for recycling but only get 2 vouchers. So, i would suggest you not to bring too many bags.
- I think it’s all depends on the H&M crew/staff , i’m kind of lucky and met one like angel!
