A new collaborative collection by watchmakers Omega and Swatch- Bioceramic MoonSwatch drew massive queues to Swatch outlet in Pavilion KL. Similar scenes happening at Swatch stores around the world on Saturday morning too, including major city hubs like Hong Kong, Melbourne and Tokyo.
The collection comprises 11 models at RM1065 each, inspired by the Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch that sells for a minimum of RM27,150. Named after planetary bodies, the watches have bioceramic cases, Velcro straps and come in different colours.
However, a video on the actual Bioceramic MoonSwatch displeased some of the netizens. Some took social media to share their disappointment: Why the actual watch looks so ugly?!

▼ The most unbelievable thing is: Swatch already released a statement that the Bioceramic MoonWatch is not a limited edition. But the price hiked like few fold by sellers’ online! The end of the video highlighted : 「The product picture from the seller and reseller is just a SHOW！」
