Recently, a post from a mum has gone viral in Facebook, a stranger trying to pester her 18-year-old daughter who was alone in Starbucks Coffee. But, a barista alerted of the situation and send her a a hot drink with a secret note! The post garnered more than 90k responses a just within few days.
According to 《Daily mail》, the incident happened in one of the Starbucks coffee outlet in Texas, USA. The girl’s mother, Brandy Robertson told the media outlet her daughter went alone to Starbucks Coffee to study as she can’t really focus at home.
She was sitting at her table alone studying and a man came by and noticed what she was studying and wanted to talk to her.

The barista noticing it and not knowing whether the girl felt threatened, he brought over “an extra hot chocolate someone forgot to pick up”.
▼ With the marker written note facing the girl : 「Are you okay? Do you want us to intervene? If you do, take the lid off the cup.」
She said her daughter felt fine and didn’t remove the lid, but she later thanked the barista for trying to help and making sure she was safe.
Roberson added:「It made me feel so grateful that the Starbucks employees were watching out for her. As a mum, that is my worst fear that something would happen to my child and nobody would be there to help.」
Touched! The barista is being applauded for finding a sneaky way to offer help to the girl.
