Malaysian Girl DIY Her Room to Vinyl Flooring & Only Spend RM160!

Thinking to change vinyl flooring for your house or room, but to hire someone to do it is quite pricey. Why don’t you DIY?!

A Malaysian netizen, Stephy sharing her DIY vinyl flooring for her bedroom in XiaoHongShu. Yes! She did it all by herself and only spend RM160++!

I bought 64 pieces from Shopee but not enough. I don’t want to wait anymore so went to 2CO to get additional 14 pieces. Slight colour difference. But it’s okay!

▼ Q: What happen to the previous flooring? on fire?

A: No. I removed the flooring so left with excessive harden glue.

▼ Q: What is the price for 2CO? even floor uneven floor also can install?

A: Every items in 2CO priced at RM2.10 pricing is more or less the same like Shopee. You can installed on uneven floor. As i found my flooring uneven when i washed the floor.

▼ Q: Do i need to clean the floor before the installation?

A: Yes! Wash and mop floor is a must. I spend about 2 days to clean the floor.

Q: What detergent do you used to clean the dirt and harden glue?

A: Normal detergent and used trowel to remove it.

▼ Q: You sticked it by yourself? my room is the cement flooring thinking to do the same like you. Is it easy to install?

A: Yes ! 100% DIY. Very simple. Just make sure all arrange nicely. Then peel-and-stick and remove/cut off the extra.

A: It’s good and after a while it will stick even better.

▼ Q: What is the feeling like when you stepping on it?

A: Just like the normal flooring.

Q: Will it be dusty in between the gap of the flooring?

A: More or less and not very obvious.

▼ Q: What if i want to move to another place, can i tear away the vinyl flooring?

A: I think when you tear it off the floor will be sticky.
