Newly Staff Caught Red-Handed Tampering MC, Staff’s Mum Asking Boss: What Do you Want Now?

A business owner found his newly employed staff tempering with medical certificate (MC). He was questioning the staff, but the mother took over to answer on behalf. She claimed she is the one amended the MC for her child and asked the boss,” What do you want us to do?”

The anonymous business owner took social media page “Ricebowl铁饭网” to shared his unsatisfactory toward his newly employed staff, who is still under probation. The MC showed she was unfit for duty for 2 days but the MC is  obviously amended.

The business owner shared the text conversation between him and the newly employed staff to understand further on the situation. But however, the staff somehow got the mother to reply on her behalf.

Text conversation 1:

Boss: I’m not convenient to listen to your voice text now. What about you type in wording?

Staff’s Mother : I’m XXX mother. I’m the one amended the date. Because the doctor written it wrongly. I did not have time to go back to ask the doctor to amend. So i amended it by myself. So, Do you have a problem?

Boss : OK! I understand the situation now. However, this kind of document is not allowed to change or amend on your own.

One been changed to two and the date also amended.

Staff’s Mother: Yes! Because i asked the doctor for 2 days off. I think he overheard it. So, the doctor only gave my daughter 1 day off.

Boss : MC is not for you to decide how many days your daughter is unfit for her job. It’s on the doctor’s discretion.

Staff’s Mother: I asked XXX go work only when she recovered. So, she don’t spread the virus to the kids.

I did asked the doctor, he said he was not sure whether my daughter can recovered in a day time.

 

Text conversation 2:

Staff’s Mother: Therefore, i asked for 2 days sick leave. So, Do you still have any question?

Boss : I understand but this is not accepted.

Staff Mother: So, what you want us to do?

Boss : We will calculate how many days she work this month to pay off XXX’s salary. Please return the uniform and sorted the final pay and it’s done. Tampering MC is not acceptable.

Staff Mother: I can’t do anything if you are not accepting it.

The business owner added the girl looked perfectly fit on the last day to the office to get her salary.

He said he totally understand when the staff not feeling well and unfit for their job. It’s fine for them to took sick leave as they are entitled for sick leave when they are unfit for job but not amended the MC without consulted the doctor.

The problem comes when you have people abusing your sick leave policy. The company can fired you committed such a misconduct.
