I roughly did a calculation on the expenses after having a girlfriend. We just started our relationship not long ago. Of course dating at home can save a lot of cost. But our relationship now is not to the extend visiting each other house. Thus, we meet only once a week. Normally just catch up for dinner and a sweet treats. Every month on the forth week, we will have some entertainment like watching movie in a cinema and so on.. My girlfriend normally pay for dessert and entertainment while me taking care expenses for the dinner.
For the months with more celebration, of course the expenses will be more. Normally i will pay for the entertainment for special occasion. While my girlfriend will bear some costs and she will be preparing presents too.
