【Video】M’sia OKU Sews Protective Gear for Healthcare Workers Using Feet

When some of us are Lepak-ing in our home during MCO, Norfarrah Syahirah Shaari from Kampung Parit Lima had tried her very best to uses her feet to make the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for our frontliners staff at Teluk Intan Hospital and some health care clinics!

Norfarrah Syahirah Shaari was born without arms saying that she was grateful for having the opportunity to help the frontliners workers, in which the PPE are facing shortage int he current situation.

“I’m feeling really motivated to sew PPE clothing for our frontliners,” she wrote.

Sewing PPE for medical workers was part of her college’s programmer. A total of 35 people are involved, including 25 volunteer tailors from the KKTI area. The community expect to make 252 isolation gowns using 400 metres of fabric. They divided the fabric to sew the gowns at our homes and offices.

They will collect all the PPE on Monday before distributing them to the frontliners.

“I feel proud to be part of this programme and this is the little thing we can do to help our healthcare workers.” say Syahirah
