“Do Not Buy These Seat!” Malaysian Shares How To Choose Seating For Coldplay Concert

Ticket for the highly-anticipated Coldplay concert will officially be on sale tomorrow for CIMB card holder and for others, the ticket will be sold on 17th May.

The concert will be held at National Stadium Bukit Jalil, the same place as Blackpink and Bilie Eilish concert, so people who have attended those concert are sharing their suggestion on which seat to be avoided.

A Twitter user has posted a tweet regarding this seat issue where the post has garnered over 20.9K likes and 13,2K retweet.

The post read: 

“Those who want to buy Coldplay tickets, please look at the seats first. Avoid buying these seats:

1. Paint 5 section 110
2. Section 207, row G no 37 (you might get seated on the stair)
3. Cat 4, 212, row W (view blocked by fence).
4. Seat 213 Row Y

Anyone who feels that they have experienced a seat with a problematic view, can share here.

If you don’t want to stress thinking, just get the free standing ticket.

Then come early.”

This post is refering to the seating in the previous Blackpink concert.

The might be your view if you choose the wrong seating. You’ll get separated by a large empty space between the stage and your seating.

He continued the tweet with these seats you should avoid.

  • Cat 1, Row A (red zone)
  • Cat 4, section 228

Lousy seats at Bukit Jalil

Cat 5 – blocked by fences (section 109), (section 101, Row A B C D E), (section 208B)

Cat 3 – under staircase, so no stage view at all (section 114)

Good seats at Bukit Jalil

Cat 7 – can see the whole stadium (section 205)

Cat 4 – need to search for more reviews)

If you haven’t figure out how to get the tickets, LiveNation has explained that an exclusive presale for CIMB bank cardholders will begin thisTuesday, May 16 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:59 PM. While for the general ticket, the sale will begin a day after that, on May 17 2023 from 10:00 AM onwards.

The cheapest seat will start from RM228 on Cat 7 while the most expensive seat will cost you RM3,088 on the Ultimate Experience.

Those who wish to attend the concert, you can get it via Live Nation website starting from 16th May. Anyway, no matter which seat you target, you’ll still need luck as the ticket might sold out in just few seconds. So good luck and have fun~
