A netizen booked MAS air-ticket online, but what surprised him is the price for business class is cheaper than economy class!
A netizen, Encik J took Facebook page,” True Malaysia Airlines Fans Group” to share his weird finding as he purchased air ticket from Alor Setar to Kuala Lumpur. He realised there are 3 packages offered for Economy class, which includes Economy lite, Economy standard and Economy flex .. BUT, he can’t believe in his eyes as the price for Business class is cheaper than the Economy class. Strange right??
According to the picture uploaded, Economy lite priced at RM489 including 10kg check-in baggage but rebooking at a fee; While, Economy standard priced at RM510.20 including 20kg check-in baggage, 7kg Cabin baggage, complimentary snacks/meals & beverages, 25% child discount and free standard seat selection.
While another screenshot is the price for business class, which only cost RM419. The package including cabin baggage 2 x 7kg , check-in baggage 40kg, complimentary snacks/meals &beverages, child discount, free seat selection, 1 free changing fee, refund at a fee, complimentary lounge access, priority check-in, priority boarding and priority baggage.
Encik J was clueless and wrote on caption:” Malaysia Airlines ticketing system is funny. Business class flight ticket from Alor Setar to KUL this Thursday, 9th November is cheaper than economy class.”

▼ Sometimes people just assume economy is cheaper and fail to compare price. A smart consumer should do the comparison. But somehow, some netizen cannot brain the ticketing system for MAS.
