The Covid-19 outbreak is getting serious, a lot of us are panic because most of the pharmacies and retail shops are running out of stocks for mask and sanitizer.
Even sometimes we saw some seller posting on social media selling mask or sanitizer, please beware! if it’s not a trusted source, they might be scammer who wanted to take advantages during the crisis.
Moreover, the latest ceiling prices announced by KPDNHEP (effective from 20th March 2020) are tremendous high. One pcs of 3 ply face mask can go up to RM2.00! Probably due to the shortage of the mask and increase of production cost. Sigh..
Hang in there guys, there is a great news from the government ! According to The Star, the government decided to take in 10 million of face masks from China gradually to meet the shortage of face mask supply in our country!
Senior Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof told the media that the face masks will be first distributed by National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) to the frontliners such as doctors, nurse, police, army, and immigration officers who has been battling to curb the spread of the infection.
And, if the remaining mask will distributed to pharmaceutical companies for the public.
So, at least there is hope for us to get some face mask in case we need to go out. Anyhow, please just stay home..Stay safe people !
