Resort World Genting issued an update on yesterday (Jun 9) that resorts and casino properties under Genting group will remain closed until further notice.
Despite the Recovery Movement Control Order ( RMCO), where interstate and domestic travel allowed, Resorts World Genting (RWS), Resorts World Awana, Resorts World Kijal and Resorts World Langkawi will remain closed until further notice.
According to their statement, RWS will continue to monitor the situation and make the necessary announcements as more information become available.
The hotel giant would like assure, despite the temporary closure, they have heightened their already stringent hygiene practices to safeguard health and safety of all the guests and employees. This is to ensure the visitors have a safe and enjoyable experience once RWS reopen.
RWS also thanked Malaysians for their continued support and cooperation as we work together as one to eradicate Covid-19.
