Director James Wan’s Instagram user name is “creepypuppet”, but what he posted lately was not creepy at all.
He posted a photo of him together with Ingrid Bisu on Instagram showing their wedding ring, and he wrote,“One ring (I mean two) to rule them all” –Â a line from The Lord Of The Rings. They announced their marriage 10 months after the engagement.
Congratulations have poured in from celebrities such as actors Henry Golding, Randall Park ,George Young and Janet Hsieh. Ingrid also shared the same photo on Facebook with the caption,”Officially married!!!” as she changed her name to Ingrid Wan on her account.
James Wan, known for directing horror movies such as Insidious and The Conjuring and, more recently, Aquaman. He did not disclose how they met. However, she played the role of Sister Oana in The Nun, a horror movie produced by him and which was filmed in 2017.
James Wan announced in September that he would be directing Malignant, a horror movie he co-wrote with Ingrid and it’s his 10th feature film. It is scheduled to be released in August 2020
