Barbers, hairdressing shops and standalone food and beverage( F&B) outlets selling mainly drinks and snacks like bubble tea, ice cream or churros in Singapore have been ordered to shut by 11.59pm on Tuesday, April 21.
Since they have been taken off the list of essential services. This means that they will not be allowed to operate during the circuit breaker period, which has been extended to June 1, 2020.
In light of the news, Singaporeans can be seen queuing up at bubble tea shops across the island. This will be the last time till June 1, anyway.
Here are some scenes of the queues across the island.
At least hundreds of men also can be seen queuing in a slight drizzle at Geylang around 11pm to get their hair cut.
Videos shot at Geylang showed dozens of men queuing outside salons:
Separately, temperature screening will be done at all supermarkets and malls from April 22.
