Mysejahtera is an application developed by the Malaysian government to help in the supervision of Covid-19 outbreak in the country by allowing users to implement self-Health Assessment. At the same time, it helped Ministry of Health (MOH) get early information to take fast and effective action.
The app is developed through a strategic cooperation between the National Security Council (NSC), the Ministry of Health (MOH), the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU) and Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
The app is Free.. It’s for Malaysians and residents of Malaysia.
The Mysejahtera app allows Malaysians:
1. Knowing their risk of covid-19.
2. Get a guide on action that needs to be implemented if classified as an individual at risk of covid infection-19.
3. Implement Self-Health and household evaluation from time to time.
4. Get the latest and legit information about covid-19 in Malaysia and around the world.
5. Knowing and looking for the ‘hot spot’ Covid-19 around them.
How do I register in MySejahtera?
To register, you need to following the following steps:
Step 1: Scan the QR Code or click on the https://mysejahtera.malaysia.gov.my
Step 2: Enter your mobile phone number or email address
Step 3: Click the ‘Submit’ button. You will receive a One Time Pin (OTP) via SMS from MySMS 63839 (if you registered using phone number) or email (if you registered using email)
Step 4: Enter the OTP and click ‘Send’
Step 5: Fill in your registration details and click ‘Send’. You will receive a ‘Successful Registration’ message
Step 6: Download the MySejahtera application
Is my personal information shared in this application secure?
MySejahtera is owned and operated by the Government of Malaysia. It is administrated by MOH and assisted by NSC and MAMPU. The Government assures that your personal information will only be used for the purpose of managing and mitigating COVID-19 outbreak. It will not be shared to any other party.
If I am identified as a COVID-19 patient, will my identity be protected?
YES, the information of all COVID-19 patients is protected under the confidentiality of medical records.
What devices support MySejahtera?
MySejahtera is supported by all Android smartphone users running version 4.4 and above, as well as iPhone users running iOS 11 and above.
Can I register my family members or individuals living with me who do not have phone number or access to smartphones in this application?
Yes, you can register your family members or individuals living with you who do not have a phone number or access to smartphones in this application. This application will also help you to monitor their health.
