Now, we can proudly say that three young Malaysians have been selected to join the Ministry of Finance under the Perdana Fellowship. Finance Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Aziz announced about this matter on a Facebook post on 9th July 2020 which got 17k likes and 1k shares.
The three young Malaysians have been selected to join the Ministry of Finance under the Perdana Fellowship and they will be the ones who will guide our future generations toward building a better Malaysia.
One of them is Muhammad Khair Noor Hisham who is Dr. Noor Hisham’s son from Sheffield Hallam University, as well as Am Abdul Aziz from University of Nottingham Malaysia and Chow Shenn Kuan from Sunway University.
“My warm welcome to three Perdana Fellows, Chow Shenn Kuan, Khair Noor Hisham and Am Abdul Aziz, to MOF. I hope that you will gain meaningful experiences during your time here,” said by Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Aziz.
The Perdana Fellowship was found by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in 2013. According to its official website, it was set up to provide the young Malaysians with first-hand experience in national governance matters.
“Under this programme, Perdana Fellows are placed under the purview of Ministers of various Ministries to assist in the highest form of governance,” it said.
Netizens overwhelmed in Tengku Zafrul’s post on Facebook after finding out that Muhammad Khair is the son of Dr Noor Hisham. Hundreds of netizens took the opportunity to congratulate Muhammad Khair and the other two youths on receiving the fellowship.
