Few days back, a lady from Perak that came back from oversea who supposed to do a home quarantine was spotted having a meal in Meru Heights sparked backlash in social media criticised her for the irresponsible act.

According to Malaysiakini, the 72-year-old lady was tested positive with Covid-19 on Jul 17. She did the second test together with her son. And was currently hospitalised for treatment in Ipoh general hospital.
The lady was said arrived Kuala Lumpur International Airport ( KLIA) on Jul 4. She was given a pink tag and asked to do a 14 days home quarantine. Her first Covid-19 test result was negative.
The photo that she was having a meal in cafe was taken on Jul 6, where she was on the way back from Selangor and have a breakfast before heading home. However, the photo only start circulated on social media 2 days back, quoted by China Press.
Only after 13 days of home quarantine she and her son were tested positive again. The source said the health authorities stated that the virus volume in the woman’s body was low, and the risk of infection was also low.
The owner, known as Sham, told Sinar Harian that they were not aware that the woman was wearing the wristband for a person under surveillance.
“She was wearing a long sleeve shirt. We didn’t realise (the wristband) at all,” said Sham.
The restaurant has 20 workers who would go for the Covid-19 test following the incident.
However, due to the incident, Sham said the customers were afraid to come to his restaurant, and business declined for the past two days.
