Do you like Broccoli? Broccoli is a healthy green vegetable that kinda looks like a miniature tree. Some people love them but some people despise it. You can find it mostly in the fresh market and even in most supermarkets.

The netizen finds this to be a normal occurrence.

One of the netizens also shares their experience.

But, the story doesn’t stop there. Apparently, he bought another batch of broccoli. Guess what? There are also caterpillars in the newly bought batch.

For fun, Sam even counted how many caterpillars that he found in the broccoli.

Since the tweet he reached out for Tesco regarding this matter blew up, Tesco did reach out to him.

However, this was the outcome. Sam did get compensation but in such a ridiculously small amount.

Well, this person on Twitter also tweeted that it was absurd for Tesco to compensate that amount to Sam Darlastone and was not having it. Honestly, I also would rather sell my story and sued Tesco for this outrageous compensation.

Usually, your mom would force you to eat your greens. Funnily, Sam Darlaston’s mother did not eat her broccoli when she eats her Sunday Roast because of his foundings.

Sam also updated his caterpillars’ conditions. Some of his caterpillars already become butterflies, some of them are still in the chrysalis state and one of them is still a caterpillar but ready to cocoon.

He, then woke up the next morning and saw one of them already become a butterfly. After his run, the other 2 of the caterpillars turned into butterflies. Now, there are 3 butterflies in his home.

BBC radio covers his story and they will have Sam Darlaston released 2 of his butterflies live on air. And he did it! He successfully released the butterfly and even nicknamed himself as the caterpillar’s father.

This thread warmed a lot of netizens’ hearts and made their day.

But they’re also people who are traumatized by this thread.

What do you think guys? I personally find it to be hilarious. But, It might also cause me to stop eating broccoli for a while.
