Ministry of Education announced the operating model for 10,210 primary and secondary schools nationwide, 8843 primary schools opt for Model 1, where classes only on morning session.
MOE posted on Facebook regarding the 3 operation models:
Model 1 : Classes to be conducted in morning session only
Model 2 : Classes to be conducted in morning & afternoon session
Rotation Model : Classes will be conducted rotationally following morning & afternoon session
According to the statistic from MOE, 8843 schools opt for model 1 ( 86.61%), 1316 schools opt for model 2 (12.89%).
While 51 schools opt for rotational model ( 0.5%), where majority from Sabah and Sarawak, and minority from Selangor.

MOE also explained, classrooms in some school do not have enough space in order to adhere the SOP guidelines where tables have to be 1m apart. Thus, some classes have to be separate into morning and afternoon session.
