Remember the guy who makes a camper car using a Kancil? As we all know he has a youtube video mostly popular about camping using his Kancil that he modified as a camper car. Apparently, we have a female version of him! Farah Nabilah known as FaraBel modified his Myvi into her dream camper car gained popularity after he posted her in his Facebook page.
Farah Bel started with her dream of having a camper van but because of how expensive it is, she decided to make her dream come true with her Myvi car. She shared that she already camped in Melaka, Kuala Lumpur, Perak, Grik, Pantai Timur, Pulau Perhentian, and the latest place she had been in Setiu, Terengganu.
The reason that she choose a camper car is that she wanted to have a relaxing time that she can sleep by nature. Not only that but also a camper car trip is usually a low cost. Fara Bel also used to go for a road trip alone. She is very confident to drive alone because it’s kind of therapy and stress relieving for her.
She always calculated the risk if she goes camping. Fara Bel advised others to go to a safe place like a campsite with good reviews. Even for a spontaneous trip, Fara Bel makes sure her place is close to people.
She shared the camper car idea with her friends. At first, her friends had no idea what is camper car. She introduced about camper car concept is the same with a camper van. It may have limited space but you can make also decorated it based on your creativity.
Usually, for a road trips, Fara Bel usually goes alone or with her younger sibling. Her friend was excited to join but the space is limited. She hoped that many people will make a camper car.
She spends below RM500, that she spends on the table and the bedding. All other things like the bedding, pillow, curtain, and tapestry are from her own room. Basically, her camper car is her own bedroom.
Her favorite location is by the sea, cool places like Cameron or in front of the river. Fara Bel also advised the stater to try camp out at a place where they are comfortable and confident. Then after that decided if a camper car suitable for them. If it is suitable for them, they can plan out their whole road trip.
