A Taylor’s University student is suspected to have contracted COVID-19 through a screening test done upon returning to his home country on Friday, Aug 14.
The student has been attending all his classes remotely via online hence limiting his movement on campus.
According to a Facebook post from Taylor’s University, there are no cases reported on campus at this time, and they will closely monitor the situation, in compliance with the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Higher Education.
The Taylor’s Lakeside Campus will be temporarily closed from tomorrow Monday, Aug 17 . All teaching and learning activities for all programmes at Taylor’s University and Taylor’s College will continue to be conducted virtually, until further notice.
