As we know, after the implementation of the Recovery Movement Control Order (PKPP), government has allowed the citizens to organize events like wedding ceremonies, birthday parties, concerts and many more by inviting more than 250 guests.
These events has to follow the standard SOPs such as maintaining social distancing according to the size of the place, wearing face masks, checking the temperature and the guests should scan the event’s QR code through MySejahtera application before entering the place.
If you’re going to organize an event, you have to know how to generate the QR code for the event. Here’s how you do it!
1. Open your MySejahtera app.
2. Enter your phone number.
After entering your phone number, you will need to answer the ‘I’m not a robot’ section to verify your identity.
3. Enter the OTP number.
Enter the 6-digit OTP number which will be sent to your phone number. The OTP number is valid for 5 minutes only.
4. Fill up the event details.
You have to fill up the details of the event such as your phone number, name of the event, address of the event and the postcode of the area.
5. Your event’s QR code is ready!
After pressing the submit button, your QR code is ready to be scanned. Don’t forget to print the QR code and place it at the entrance of your event.
