Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah posted on her IG after king rejected the government’s proposal for a state of emergency to be declared, she took IG to share a photo hinting the challenges her husband faces that most people may not know.

The post did not came with any caption. It garnered more than 60k likes and more than 1500 comments. Most netizens thanked Agong for being thoughtful not to declare state of emergency , understanding the difficulties citizens went through and concerned about the people’s worries.
Istana Negara issued a statement yesterday saying, after the meeting with PM Tan Sri Muhyiddin and discussion with the Malay rulers, Agong decided there is no need to declare an emergency for the country, according to The Star.
He also reminded all politicians to immediately put a stop to all forms of politicking that could disrupt the stability of the country.
Lastly, the King also urged everyone, regardless of their background and political leaning, to set aside all differences and unite and play their respective roles to help the government and the authorities to curb the spread of Covid-19.
