This dish is very popular Korean food that love by many people nowadays! Tteokbokki or also known as spicy rice cakes is spicy, has sweet flavor and a chewy texture which makes it as people’s favorite! Today we gonna share a delicious Tteokbokki recipe that you must try at home!
Alright just follow these steps and let’s start cooking!
▼ Ingredients
✦ Tteokbokki
- 1 cup glutinous flour
- 3 tablespoons wheat flour
- Salt to taste
- A little sesame oil
- Warm water
✦ Tteokbokki sauce
- 3 cloves of garlic (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon chili paste
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon chicken stock
- Sugar to taste
- Slice sausage
- Boiled eggs
▼Step 1: Mix all the ingredients together and knead until it becomes a dough. The dough should not sticky to the palms
▼Step 2: Knead the dough lengthwise
▼Step 3: Then cut into small pieces
▼Step 4: Place the Tteokbokki on a plate that has been smeared with sesame oil and steam for 5 minutes
▼Step 5: After steaming, proceed to soak the topokki in cold water in order to preserve its elasticity
Then let’s make tteokbokki sauce!
▼Step 6: Heat a tablespoon of cooking oil and fry the garlic then insert 1 tablespoons of Adabi branded chili paste, some water, 1 tablespoons of chili sauce, tomato sauce, oyster sauce, sugar and a spoonful of chicken stock
▼ Step 7: Insert tteokbokki and slice of sausage into the gravy and cook a few minutes
▼ Step 8: Served with boiled chicken eggs and sprinkles of sesame seeds
